Consisting of three spaces, the gallery space enjoys natural light that illuminates the white walls and further juxtaposes the steel girders and exposed brick.

FROM PAWN SHOP
From our research, we found that our building is steeped in history. The earliest records of The Lambourne dates back to 1848 where a pawnbroker run by a Miss Ann Webb opened its doors. 2 years later in 1850, Mackey Charles opened up his brass foundry in what is now our atrium gallery which sold Hosiers, Jewellery & Sundries.
TO UNDERGROUND NIGHTCLUB
Moving to the 20th century, where the building held a variety of different occupations as the Jewellery Quarter changed and evolved as an area. There was a move from manufacturing (to help the war effort in the 40's), to it being used as a live music venue and underground nightclub in the 90's (where the WHOLE building was painted black!)
TO UNIQUE EVENTS SPACE
Today, where Iron House's mission is to enable and empower our community to utilise this unique environment. We want to play our part in the community so that when the occupants n 100 years time look back on the Lambourne's like we did, they're as proud of it as we are today.
Don't take our word for it...
