ITV’s This Morning came to Iron House to film a segment for their Halloween show in the quest to find Toto the dog from the Wizard of Oz. They used our Harford Street venue to film and the lounge area for a green room with all the dogs trying out for the position.
FILMING AT IRON HOUSE
Alongside our traditional events, we have seen a lot of demand for the usage of the space as a filming location. We are a converted warehouse in the centre of Birmingham in the historic Jewellery Quarter. There is ample parking onsite and the area is very quiet especially at evenings and weekends. Whether it's a independant filmmaker, university project or a large production, Iron House can fit all needs.
MULTIPLE SHOTS IN ONE LOCATION
Located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, situated in a historic industrial building, Iron House provides production and film crews with the creative freedom to use our exposed brick walls, gallery white walls, or dark walls in our new lounge space to get different shots in the same space. Competitively priced, and very flexible, we cater for all filming needs and briefs.
A SELECTION OF OUR CLIENTS
We've been fortunate at Iron House to have worked with a number of fantastic production companies, brands, independant film makers and creatives both locally and nationally. We are always happy to discuss creative briefs and see what parts of the venues would work best.

HEINEKEN
Heineken were filming a video for the launch of their asset factory, a resource that allows marketers company wide to comply with brand guidelines and took over Iron House to film with the two brains behind it. The final product isn’t a public video, but I can provide a private video link if you reach out.
MASTERCLASS
As well as production based filming, we have also worked with leading brands like Manfrotto to offer masterclass sessions on a range of niche topics for passionate amateurs. We blacked out our skylights in Iron House for these to allow a completely controllable lighting setup throughout the venue.
ECOMMERCE
As well as filming, we have also worked with leading brands like P&Co to offer Iron House as a versatile shoot location for their upcoming e-commerce ranges. With a mixture of white, brick, chalk, and dark walls, directors can achieve multiple shots within the same venue.
